Wireless m-bus repeaters are intended to re-transmit data from wireless m-bus meters or sensors.
This is often needed inside or outside big buildings, where meters are with wireless m-bus. Since wireless m-bus is on 868MHz
frequency it is dependant on distance and obstacles. Usually around 300-400 meters direct view are not a problem, but building materials and
sensors/meters position are also very important.
In order to use only one main collecting concentrator in bigger buildings user must use signal repetitors.
Since sometimes is not possible to use external power supply we offer this battery powered repeater.
That is what our repeater do - re-transmit with full power possible meters that are in range. It can hold up to 250 ID's for re-transmission.
Battery powered repeaters should be set more carefully and set up is in direct relation with battery life.
Our repeaters works in modes T, S and C and are set with wireless m-bus device (like WMR-IoT) and our service software.

If set in automatic mode - after power up repeater starts to collect data from wireless m-bus meters in range and to activate them in non-volatile memory.
It can memorize up to 250 devices. If not in automatic 'search and activate' mode then user should program the device, using wireless m-bus reader like WMR-IoT.
Repeater works in 'receive' mode for some pre-defined time - by default 2 hours. During other time of the day repeater stays only in transmit mode and
sends all captured telegrams continously.
This is needed to preserve battery for longer period and there is direct relation between 'collecting' hours and battery lifetime.
Settings is made with our software, through wireless m-bus reader like WMR-IoT. Batteries are replaceable, non-chargeable type - 4 batteries, size D.
