VAR4100 is digital measuring, fully programmable device from
series 4100, designed on basis of microcontrollers. The device
measures reactive electric power in electrical substations
and power plants. VAR4100 provides also the ability to calculate
and store the consumed electrical energy. The unit is designed
to be mounted on boards in control rooms of electrical substations.

VAR4100 displays currently measured reactive power. While
pressing button ‘up arrow‘ the nominal primary power is
displayed, calculated from voltage and current transformers
ratio.
VAR4100 can be connected to the current and voltage lines
either directly (if voltage and current values are in the
specified operating range) or by current and/or voltage
transformers. It is recommended that at least one transformer
is used (either current or voltage) as the current and voltage
inputs are not isolated.
