VA4080 is digital measuring, fully programmable device from
series 4080, designed on basis of microcontrollers. The device
measures active electric power in electrical
substations and power plants. VA4080 provides also the ability
to calculate and store the consumed electrical energy. The
unit is designed to be mounted on boards in control rooms
of electrical substations.

VA4080 displays currently measured active power. While pressing button ‘up arrow‘ the nominal
primary power is displayed, calculated from voltage and
current transformers ratio.
VA4080 can be connected to the current and voltage lines
either directly (if voltage and current values are in the
specified operating range) or by current and/or voltage
transformers. It is recommended that at least one transformer
is used (either current or voltage) as the current and voltage
inputs are not isolated.
